Me? I'm just like you. We both learned the extreme politeness expected of girls growing up from 1950 to the 1970s. We became pros at people-pleasing! Being seen, but often not heard, set up a foundation for "invisibility" that women at ages 55+ often feel today.
Then? Skirts only at school ... and those swell gym suits. But real sports for girls? Nope. And, limited career options: nurse or teacher (if lucky and going to college). Or, how about those TV role models? (Perfect housewife in pearls and dishwashing gloves.) No? Perhaps secretary ... nanny ... nun?!
Whether you were able to beat those odds or not, I'm here to ensure your "second act" is your choice. I've been a modern-day version of secretary as well as a business owner, executive, manager, editor and trainer. Now in my own fulfilling transformation, I'm a certified life coach with the creds to get you off of the back burner for a sizzling second act at 55+.
